General Usage
Acacia concinna, a.k.a. Shikakai, is a common herb used in various natural remedies. It is widely popular as a ‘fruit for the hair .’It has mild pH levels, which gently cleanses hair without removing natural oils. In Ayurveda, acacia concinna is suggested to treat dandruff, promote hair growth, and strengthen hair roots. The decoction of pods is also used to relieve biliousness.
